The Gurkha cigar lines all share a certain elegance, a mastery of their surroundings, standing alone in a crowded field.

The Vintage Shaggy is different. Packed in chests of 25, the Vintage Shaggy is fun as well as being a great cigar. It’s offered in three blends, all of which feature an unfinished foot – ragged and uncut – and are packed with scrap tobacco for the feeling of literally finding a “diamond in the rough.” The box is special, too, with a woven lid, almost giving the cigars their own “air-conditioning” system. It’s an unforgettable presentation that’s unlike anything in the Gurkha line...or any other line!

But the cigars themselves should not be underestimated. Three blends are available, all using six-year-aged, Dominican-grown binder and filler leaves, with your choice of a Connecticut Shade, Connecticut Broadleaf maduro or – sure to be a favorite of connoisseurs – an eight-year-aged, Dominican-grown wrapper and binder and filler.

The Dominican puro blend is offered in the standard Toro, Churchill and Torpedo sizes, as are the other, Connecticut-wrapped versions, but only the puro is also available in the chubby XO, a 6-inch by 60-ring giant.
