Diamond Crown Maximus is a supreme achievement of three legendary Cigar Aficionado "cigar Hall of Fame" families: the Fuentes, Newmans, and Olivias. To celebrate J.C. Newman Cigar Co.'s 100th anniversary, Stanford Newman teamed up with Carlos Fuente, Jr. to the legendary Super Premium cigar, Diamon Crown.

A decade later, Stanford again challenged Carlos to create a bold, rich, robust, and fuller-flavored complement to Diamon Crown. Maximus is their crowning achievement. What makes Maximus unique is the Fuente family's secret blend of specially-aged Dominican filler tobaccos combined with the Oliva Family's exclusive El Bajo Ecuadorian tobacco wrapper.

The Oliva's El Bajo tobacco farm runs through a valley alongside the Rio Macul River. Centuries of South American tropical rains wash the natural minerals and nutrients down from an adjacent mountain to make El Bajo's soil exceptionally rich. Only the finest ligero oscuro wrappers are selected from the choicest upper corona primings for Maximus cigars.
