3-Finally

After the smooth ride under the Coronado Bridge, there was an exhilarant display of fireworks and then a performance from the Samba feather dancers. The guests were cheering on the performers and then began their own dancing battle amongst on another. Strutting their stuff, everyone just began cheering and dancing with the samba performers.

2-Keep the partying going

Closest to the water view was the first floor which played hip hop. The second floor was popular with Latin music and salsa dancers. The third floor was open to the sea and the stars welcoming cigar lovers. CigarPlayer and CigarPlayer Angels invited any who wanted to try new cigars or even stick with their favorite. Many guests came on the Inspiration horn blower simply for the Cigar event, and others who were new to the carnival themed cruise soon discovered and relished every savoring taste of the cigars.

1-Sabor on the Bay San Diego

Labor Day weekend was a great time to have fun and enjoy cigars! On September 3, 2011 CigarPlayer and CigarPlayer Angels (Angela and Stacey) joined the largest Latin boat party in America! Sabor on the Bay Carnival theme Cruise had 1,000 guests wrapped around the colossal yacht standing in line along North Harbor Drive ready to prepare with salsa dancing lessons at 8:00pm. The boat departed at 9:00pm and smoothly sailed along the San Diego bay for a three hour party. There were three floors of music, a cigar lounge, and samba feather dancers.

Cigar Java Moma helped host and MC the event. Food was served at this event catered by a local deli shop serving Tri-Tip, assorted deli sandwiches, BBQ hamburger and hot dogs, and complimentary drinks served by Miss Baseball-n-Cigars.

This event was unsurpassed and we send a special shout out to all of those who made it so special by attending!

2-Open 24 hours a day

Interestingly enough, this Cigar event stemmed from shop owner Javier, whose business originated as a simple news stand, which then brewed into a cigar shop, and has now transformed into a full cigar lounge open 24 hours a day. The lounge is a joint news stand and cigar smoke venue inviting costumers to read any magazines of their choice while enjoying a tasteful cigar.

1-Four cigar vendors

The Valencia Cigar event was held on Sunday June 12, 2011 from 11:00am-4:00pm across the highway from Magic Mountain in Valencia California. This epic event had four cigar vendors including: Oliva (assisted by Natalia), Arturo Fuente (assisted by Cigar Java Moma), Casa Magna, and Kristoff. Other popular cigar vendors included Drew Estates and Joya De Nicaragua Cigars. Local celebrities were in full swing including the owner of Valencia News and Cigars, Javier Hernandez, CigarPlayer (from YumaCigars.com), Cigar Java Moma (a.k.a. Lauren Totman), Miss Baseball-n-Cigars (a.k.a. Angela Yue), one Honduras Cigar Roller, the mayor, and the fire chief.

Tequila Shots

Light it Up

To top it all off, all were granted a complimentary Tequila shot where all the jaunty spirits inhaled and then sucked down a party together. Between, Angela representing Cinco de Mayo with her feisty Sombrero, Carina requesting songs on the dance floor, and all the outside club goers mingling in with the Cigar Dinner participants- dancing to Cigarplayer’s Salsa and Reggaetone, the event was momentous! Nevertheless, the ambiance of the Broken Boarder Cigar Dinner event was cigar friendly, united, warm, action-filled, tasteful, and positively delicious; definitely a memory never to forget and a desired memory to repeat.

Remember to check out the event pictures on the Broken Border Bar and Grill Facebook page, Yumacigars.com or Cigarplayer.com! Don’t miss out on the fun; look for a future announcement on the next cigar dinner that we are hosting with featured cigars. Cigar Java Mama will be following up with you to get your rating for the cigars from the last event so they can be posted on the website for all patrons to view as they purchase their cigars. Live, laugh, love, and enjoy! Stay tuned-in until next time!

The boys from Los Angles Table

Pleasurable Aroma

As everyone was sitting in their cloud of enchanting flavors sharing stories and cracking jokes, all were enjoying one thing in common, their love for taking in a cigar flavor that quenches every tasteful sensation while relaxing the mind and body. All the while, each member of this secret club were spreading a pleasurable aroma of their individual liking and immersing the open deck only making the passer-bye’s envious. The night went on with a hint of Frank Sinatra during dinner. Each invitee was presented with a savoring taste of succulent steak, tender Pollo Asada, or marinated poultry arranged like an art, only to be devoured by ravenous guests enjoying every last bite. All at once, cutting and slicing their meat to make the perfect sized bite.

Cigar Dinner Shout Out

Here is a shout out to all who attended the Cinco De Mayo Cigar Dinner Light Up at the Broken Boarder Bar and Grill which featured: dinner, cigars, drinks, and the camaraderie of all the friends. The actual dinner was sponsored by Yumacigars.com which you can visit in the future as it is a well-established website where you can view blogs, pictures, and create a personalized cigar locker where you can order cigars monthly in order to maintain your cigar humidor at home or your work place.

The affair rocked! The night opened with Carlos Santana music and a welcoming to all the guests who began the experience of tasting their featured cigars, sitting in a cloud of enchanting mixed flavors of Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No. 2, Rocky Patel Java and San Latano floating above all the relaxed yet exuberant cigar fans.
